Frozen Chocolate Pie

Ingredients

- 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup baking cocoa
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 (8 ounce) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 (9 inch) baked pie crusts
- chocolate curls (optional) or chocolate chips (optional)
Recipe
- 1 in a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth.
- 2 add cocoa alternately with milk; mix well.
- 3 fold in whipped topping.
- 4 pour into pie shell.
- 5 freeze for 8 hours or overnight.
- 6 if desired, garnish with chocolate curls or chips.
- 7 serve directly from the freezer (pie does not need to be thawed to cut).
- 8 **freeze time not included in "cook" time.
