Easy Chewy Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 (18 1/2 ounce) package cake mix, i use duncan hines brand
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1 tablespoon water
• 2 large eggs
• 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Recipe

• 1 combine first 4 ingredients.
• 2 beat on low till smooth or by hand.
• 3 shape into balls and roll in powdered sugar.
• 4 place 2" apart on lightly greased cookie sheets.
• 5 bake 10 minutes at 375.
• 6 cool slightly on pans before removing.
• 7 notes: this dough is very thick. they will look puffy and underbaked when you take them out, will flatten as they cool. spice and any type of chocolate cake mix taste great.
