El's Seven Layer Cookies

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

• 1 cup of melted butter
• 4 eggs
• 1 cup flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 7 ounces almond paste or 1 -4 ounce almond extract
• 7 drops red food coloring
• 7 drops green food coloring
• polaner all fruit (raspberry or whatever flavor you prefer)
• semisweet chocolate

Recipe

• 1 beat eggs and butter together.
• 2 add flour and sugar, and mix together.
• 3 add almond paste/ extract and mix
• 4 divide into 3 equal parts (approx 1 cup each).
• 5 add food coloring to 2 parts.
• 6 line 8x8 pan with wax paper and bake @ 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
• 7 put jam on 2 middle layers and melt chocolate chips and cover top and bottom with chocolate layer. enjoy!
