Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened (no substitutions)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit.
- 2 in a large bowl, measure all ingredients except semisweet and chocolate chips. with a mixer at medium speed, beat ingredients until blended and smooth, occasionally scraping bowl with a rubber spatula. with a spoon, stir in the chips.
- 3 drop dough by rounded tablespoons, 2 inches apart, onto large ungreased cookie sheet. bake cookies for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden. immediately transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool.
