Double Chocolate Brownies

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 brownies:.
  • 2 beat butter, sugar, and vanilla in a mixing bowl.
  • 3 add eggs, beating just until blended.
  • 4 add flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt; stir until blended.
  • 5 fold in chocolate chips.
  • 6 spread in a greased 9-inch square baking pan and bake 30 minutes (or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean) at 350 degrees.
  • 7 cool.
  • 8 frosting:.
  • 9 cut butter into powdered sugar/cocoa and add in vanilla.
  • 10 stir in enough milk to make frosting smooth.
  • 11 frost brownies and enjoy!
