Chocolate Gooey Cake With Cooked Icing

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine, corn, melted
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa, hersheys
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 6 tablespoons evaporated milk, pet
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/2 cup margarine, corn, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted

Recipe

  • 1 in bowl combine flour sugar and baking soda.
  • 2 in saucepan.
  • 3 combine margarine shortening water and cocoa.
  • 4 cook, bring to a boil
  • 5 in mixing bowl beat eggs vanilla and buttermilk.
  • 6 dump into flour and sugar and baking soda the cooked melted mixture
  • 7 add egg mixture.
  • 8 then add the egg mixture.
  • 9 in greased 10x15 inch cake pan.
  • 10 bake 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
  • 11 meanwhile combine cocoa margarine and milk.
  • 12 bring to a boil.
  • 13 add vanilla and sugar.
  • 14 beat.
  • 15 cake may be iced hot.
