Chocolate Ganache Glaze With Honey

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 lb semisweet chocolate, finely chopped (bittersweet or dark chocolate works too)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

Recipe

  • 1 bring cream to a boil in a large saucepan.
  • 2 add chocolate and remove from heat. allow to sit for 5 minutes, swirling the pan to make sure the cream covers the chocolate.
  • 3 add honey and and salt. whisk until the ingredients are blended.
  • 4 cool the mixture until it is thick enough to coat a cake, cupcakes, or whatever you like.
