Chocolate Fudge

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (355 g) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips (for creamier fudge) or 1 (355 g) bag milk chocolate chips (for creamier fudge)
  • 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
  • 12 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/3 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe

  • 1 lightly grease an 8 inch square cake pan.
  • 2 put chocolate, butter and sweetened condensed milk in saucepan and heat on low-medium heat until butter and chocolate chips are melted and mixture is smooth.
  • 3 remove from heat. add vanilla extract and beat mixture until slightly thickened.
  • 4 pour into greased pan.
  • 5 let mixture chill until firm.
