Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients
- 1 (355 g) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips (for creamier fudge) or 1 (355 g) bag milk chocolate chips (for creamier fudge)
- 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
- 12 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 1/3 teaspoon vanilla extract
Recipe
- 1 lightly grease an 8 inch square cake pan.
- 2 put chocolate, butter and sweetened condensed milk in saucepan and heat on low-medium heat until butter and chocolate chips are melted and mixture is smooth.
- 3 remove from heat. add vanilla extract and beat mixture until slightly thickened.
- 4 pour into greased pan.
- 5 let mixture chill until firm.
