Ghirardelli Classic Brownies

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 4 ounces ghirardelli semisweet chocolate bars
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup flour, plus
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup ghirardelli semi-sweet chocolate chips (i use )

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350-degrees.
  • 2 butter and flour 8x8 pan.
  • 3 in a heavy 1 1/2 saucepan, melt chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  • 4 remove pan from heat and let cool to room temperature.
  • 5 stir in brown sugar and vanilla.
  • 6 add eggs, mixing well.
  • 7 in bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
  • 8 slowly fold into chocolate mixture; mix well.
  • 9 stir in chips.
  • 10 pour batter into prepared pan.
  • 11 bake for 25-30 minutes.
