Ghirardelli Classic Brownies

Ingredients

- 4 ounces ghirardelli semisweet chocolate bars
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup flour, plus
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup ghirardelli semi-sweet chocolate chips (i use )
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350-degrees.
- 2 butter and flour 8x8 pan.
- 3 in a heavy 1 1/2 saucepan, melt chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- 4 remove pan from heat and let cool to room temperature.
- 5 stir in brown sugar and vanilla.
- 6 add eggs, mixing well.
- 7 in bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
- 8 slowly fold into chocolate mixture; mix well.
- 9 stir in chips.
- 10 pour batter into prepared pan.
- 11 bake for 25-30 minutes.
