Fresh Fruit Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 3 cups half-and-half
  • 1 (14 ounce) can eagle brand condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
  • 1 cup pureed or mashed fresh fruit (strawberries, peaches, bananas, raspberries, etc.)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • food coloring (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 in ice cream freezer comtainer, combine all inreadients; mix well.
  • 2 freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
  • 3 freeze leftovers.
  • 4 vanilla ice cream: omit fruit and food coloring.
  • 5 increase half-and-half to 4 cups.
  • 6 proceed as above.
  • 7 mint chocolate chip ice cream: omit fruit and vanilla.
  • 8 increase half-and-half to 4 cups.
  • 9 add 2 teaspoons peppermint extract and 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips.
  • 10 proceed as above.
