Chocolate Yoghurt Cake

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup yoghurt
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Recipe

  • 1 sieve flour, cocoa powder, salt and soda together; keep aside.
  • 2 beat the eggs and sugar together.
  • 3 in the egg, gradually pour the oil and keep beating.
  • 4 add the flour mixture little at a time.
  • 5 slowly add the yoghurt and keep beating.
  • 6 grease a baking pan and pour the mixture into this.
  • 7 bake in a 350°f preheated oven or gas mark 3-4 for half an hour to 45 minutes.
