Ingredients

- 2 cups butter
- 3 cups sugar
- 6 ounces melted unsweetened chocolate
- 4 teaspoons vanilla
- 8 eggs
- 2 chocolate cookie pie crust
Recipe
- 1 cream butter at low speed.
- 2 gradually add sugar, creaming well after each addition.
- 3 blend melted chocolate and vanilla.
- 4 cool before adding to sugar mixture.
- 5 cream well.
- 6 add eggs, one at a time, beating for 3 minutes each; scrape bowl often.
- 7 it is important to mix this batter well at high speed or the pie will taste grainy.
- 8 if you get a rich creamy texture you did it right.
- 9 chill at least 2 hours before serving.
