Fast Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 150 g unsalted butter, softened
• 3/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 3/4 cup dark chocolate, chopped
• 2 cups plain flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder

Recipe

• 1 pre-heat oven 180'c.
• 2 cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
• 3 add the egg and combine well.
• 4 add the dark chocolate bits.
• 5 sift the flour and baking powder, add to the
• 6 creamed mixture, combine into a doughy.
• 7 mixture.
• 8 roll into a log about 5 cm in diameter, then.
• 9 portion into 35 cookies, placing them onto a greased or baking paper lined tray.
• 10 bake for 12-15 minutes, until just starting to golden in colour.
• 11 remove from tray place on cookie rack to cool. store in airtight container.
