Chocolate Marsala Cake

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 1/4 cup marsala
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 125 g butter, melted

Recipe

  • 1 spray a 20cm round cake tin with cooking spray and line with non-stick baking paper.
  • 2 preheat oven to 180 c / 350°f.
  • 3 place all ingredients into bowl of electric mixer.
  • 4 beat on slow until everything is combined, then increase speed to medium and beat for 3 minutes.
  • 5 pour into tin.
  • 6 bake for 40 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
