Chocolate Ganache

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 12 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped fine
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar

Recipe

  • 1 mix together the pecans, melted butter, and sugar.
  • 2 press into 9" tart pan with removable bottom.
  • 3 bake at 325* for 12 minutes until light brown, cool.
  • 4 heat cream to boil.
  • 5 add chocolate and yolk and mix until smooth.
  • 6 pour into cool shell and refrigerate until set.
  • 7 enjoy!
