Chocolate Fudge Pie

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 9 inches pie shells (unbaked)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 2/3 cup chopped nuts (pecans are nice) (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 melt together chocolate with margarine.
  • 3 let cool slightly.
  • 4 seperatly beat eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
  • 5 mix well and then add to chocolate mix.
  • 6 add in nuts, blend.
  • 7 after combining well, pour into pie crust.
  • 8 bake 40 minutes or until top is crusty and filling is set but soft.
  • 9 let cool well before serving.
