Gertie's Chocolate Sour Cream Cake

Ingredients

• 2 cups sugar
• 5 tablespoons cocoa
• 1/4 lb butter
• 1 cup boiling water
• 2 cups flour
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup sour cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

• 1 combine sugar and cocoa.
• 2 combine butter and boiling water. when butter has melted, add the cocoa/sugar mixture.
• 3 sift and add flour, baking soda, salt.
• 4 add the eggs, sour cream and vanilla.
• 5 bake at 325º 30 minutes or so.
