Chocolate Won Tons With Raspberry Sauce

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 16 wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup raspberries, fresh
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 water, plus a bowl for sealing won tons
  • oil, for frying
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar, for garnish

Recipe

  • 1 fill each won ton wrapper with a few chocolate chips. fold and seal like a won ton, sealing with wet fingers.
  • 2 make the raspberry sauce, by blending the raspberries and sugar with a few teaspoons of water. strain out seeds and place in a squirt bottle.
  • 3 fry won tons in 375 degree oil for a few minutes until golden brown. drain excess oil.
  • 4 serve with a sprinkle of powdered sugar and raspberry sauce.
