Cherry Chocolate Pie

Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cold butter
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- whipped cream (optional)
- maraschino cherry (optional)
Recipe
- 1 for crust:.
- 2 in a bowl, mix flour, sugar and salt.
- 3 cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- 4 press firmly onto the bottom and sides of a 9 in pie plate.
- 5 bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- 6 cool completely.

- 9 cook, stirring over low heat until chocolate melts.
- 10 stir in cherry pie filling and almond extract.
- 11 pour into the cooled crust.
