Frozen Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 6 ounces dark chocolate, good quality
  • 1/4 cup cream or 1/4 cup half-and-half
  • sugar, to taste (optional)
  • 3 cups ice
  • whipped cream, garnish (optional)
  • chocolate shavings, garnish (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 melt six ounces of good dark chocolate with a quarter cup of cream or half-and-half, being careful not to boil.
  • 2 once the chocolate is melted, taste and add a little sugar if you like.
  • 3 put it in the blender with three cups of ice and pulse until an even consistency is reached.
  • 4 note: do not blend too much as the consistency might become watery.
  • 5 serve in small bowls or cups and garnish as desired.
