Ingredients

- 6 ounces dark chocolate, good quality
- 1/4 cup cream or 1/4 cup half-and-half
- sugar, to taste (optional)
- 3 cups ice
- whipped cream, garnish (optional)
- chocolate shavings, garnish (optional)
Recipe
- 1 melt six ounces of good dark chocolate with a quarter cup of cream or half-and-half, being careful not to boil.
- 2 once the chocolate is melted, taste and add a little sugar if you like.
- 3 put it in the blender with three cups of ice and pulse until an even consistency is reached.
- 4 note: do not blend too much as the consistency might become watery.
- 5 serve in small bowls or cups and garnish as desired.
