French Silk Pie

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 baked 9 inch pie shell
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons baking cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon crisco cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs

Recipe

  • 1 cream the butter and sugar. add the cocoa, oil and vanilla. blend together. add the eggs one at a time beating 3-5 minutes after each. pour into a baked 9" pie crust. top with cool whip or real whipping that has been whipped. sprinkle the top with shaved chocolate if desired.
  • 2 refridgerate overnight to set.
