Fat-free Chocolate Cake

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa, sifted
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup dark corn syrup

Recipe

  • 1 measure first 6 ingredients into medium bowl.
  • 2 stir.
  • 3 make a well.
  • 4 place egg whites, water, corn syrup in seperate medium bowl.
  • 5 whisk to mix.
  • 6 pour into well.
  • 7 stir until smooth.
  • 8 turn into greased 9x9 inch pan.
  • 9 bake in 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
