Easy Toffee Squares (candy)

Ingredients

• 1 cup chopped nuts
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup butter
• 3 tablespoons water
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Recipe

• 1 line an 8x8 inch pan with wax paper. spray with nonstick cooking spray.
• 2 chop up nuts and sprikle over bottom of pan.
• 3 combine brown sugar, butter and water in a microwave-safe bowl.
• 4 microwave on high 5-6 min, stirring after 2 minutes until thick.
• 5 stirr well and spread quickly over chopped nuts.
• 6 sprinkle chocolate pieces over toffee. cover pan with foil and let stand 5 minutes. spread the chocolate evenly.
• 7 allow to cool enitrely.
• 8 turn out of pan and break into pieces to serve.
