Chocolate Fudge Brownies

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 175 g butter
  • 6 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 175 g brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup self raising flour

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven 180°c; grease and line a cake tin (mine was 7 inches by 11 inches).
  • 2 in a small pan melt butter then add cocoa and mix well; take off heat. let cool.
  • 3 beat eggs, sugar and vanilla in a medium bowl and then stir in cooled butter mix.
  • 4 mix in choc chips.
  • 5 sift in flour and fold into the mix.
  • 6 pour into tin and put in oven for approximately 30 to 35 minutes. it will be soft when you take it from the oven, but it cooks while cooling.
  • 7 allow it to cool completely before cutting.
