Fudge Brownies

Ingredients

  • Servings: 36
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup flour, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325.
  • 2 grease a 9" square baking pan.
  • 3 melt butter and chocolate in small saucepan over low heat.
  • 4 stir to blend and set aside to cool.
  • 5 beat eggs until light yellow; add salt, sugar, flour, and baking powder.
  • 6 beat well.
  • 7 blend in cooled chocolate, vanilla and pecans.
  • 8 blend thouroughly.
  • 9 pour into prepared pan and bake 35-45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  • 10 cool before cutting.
