Chocolate Mint Truffle Squares

Ingredients

• 1 lb semisweet chocolate
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
• peppermint candy, small chunks broken

Recipe

• 1 melt chocolate and butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. stir in heavy cream and mint liqueur. spread into a 9-inch square pan lined with plastic wrap and chill until firm. cut into squares approx 1 inch and press small chunks of broken peppermint in the top of each.
