Chocolate Mousse Cake

Total Time: 2 hrs 45 mins Preparation Time: 2 hrs Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (18 ounce) box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 eggs (or as directed)
  • 1 1/4 cups water (or as directed)
  • 1/3 cup oil (or as directed)
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 (11 1/2 ounce) bags chocolate chips
  • 1 pint heavy cream

Recipe

  • 1 make cake as directed on box (let cool).
  • 2 whip 6 egg yolks with sugar until pale and fluffy.
  • 3 heat 1 cup of milk
  • 4 pour chocolate chips in milk and mix well until melted
  • 5 pour a little bit of chocolate in the yolks and mix well and add the remaining.
  • 6 let cool.
  • 7 whip heavy cream until thick
  • 8 fold the whip cream in the chocolate mixture.
  • 9 cut cake in half and put half of the mousse in the middle and place top on and put the remaining mousse on top.
  • 10 place in the fridge and enjoy:).
