Chocolate Mint Baked Custard

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 1/2 cups milk, divided
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup mint chocolate chips
  • 2 large eggs

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
  • 2 in a small saucepan, combine 1/2 c milk and the mint-chocolate chips.
  • 3 cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until chips are melted and mixture is smooth.
  • 4 set aside.
  • 5 in a large bowl, combine remaining 1 c of milk, condensed milk, and eggs; beat until well blended.
  • 6 add chocolate mixture; beat well.
  • 7 pour into a 1-quart casserole.
  • 8 fill a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with 4 cups of water.
  • 9 place casserole in baking pan.
  • 10 bake at 350 degrees f. for 50 to 55 minutes.
