Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

• 3 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
• 1 1/2 cups water
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 1 dash salt
• 4 1/2 cups milk

Recipe

• 1 heat chocolate and water in 1 1/2 quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
• 2 stir in sugar and salt.
• 3 heat to boiling.
• 4 reduce heat to low.
• 5 simmer uncovered 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
• 6 stir in milk.
• 7 heat just until hot (do not boil because skim will foam on top).
• 8 beat with hand beater until foamy, or stir until smooth.
• 9 serve immediately.
