Halva Ice-cream

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 250 ml whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 200 g halva

Recipe

  • 1 separate eggs and whisk whites until stiff.
  • 2 add in sugar, a spoonfull at a time and whisk.
  • 3 pour yolks and vanilla essence into mixture and carefully mix through.
  • 4 beat up cream in separate bowl.
  • 5 fold cream into egg mixture.
  • 6 chop up halva - crumble it - and then fold into egg/cream mixture.
  • 7 pour into loaf pan lined with wax paper (or use silicon container)and freeze.
  • 8 before serving, turn out onto serving plate and drizzle with melted chocolate (optional).
