Glazed Nectarines With Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 medium nectarines or 4 medium peaches, peeled
  • 1/4 cup orange marmalade
  • 1 tablespoon margarine or 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • chocolate fudge topping

Recipe

  • 1 carefully remove and discard the pits from the nectarines or peaches, leaving the fruit whole.
  • 2 for glaze, in a medium skillet combine the marmalade, margarine or butter and orange juice.
  • 3 heat over medium heat just until margarine and marmalade are melted.
  • 4 add fruit. spoon glaze over fruit. bring to boiling; reduce heat.
  • 5 cover and simmer for 7 to 9 minutes or until fruit is tender, gently stirring once.
  • 6 to serve, divide fruit among 4 dessert dishes. spoon glaze and chocolate topping over fruit.
