Double Chocolate Snowquakes

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups milk chocolate chips
- powdered sugar
Recipe
- 1 combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
- 2 cream butter until fluffy.
- 3 add brown sugar and sugar to creamed butter, beating well; beat in eggs and vanilla.
- 4 beat flour mixture into butter mixture until a soft dough forms.
- 5 stir in chocolate chips; cover with plastic wrap and chill 1 hour.
- 6 shape 1 t dough into ball and roll in powdered sugar, repeating with each cookie.
- 7 bake cookies (on pan lined with parchment paper) at 350° for 10 minutes, and remove to rack to cool.
