Double Chocolate Snowquakes

Ingredients

  • Servings: 40
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups milk chocolate chips
  • powdered sugar

Recipe

  • 1 combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
  • 2 cream butter until fluffy.
  • 3 add brown sugar and sugar to creamed butter, beating well; beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • 4 beat flour mixture into butter mixture until a soft dough forms.
  • 5 stir in chocolate chips; cover with plastic wrap and chill 1 hour.
  • 6 shape 1 t dough into ball and roll in powdered sugar, repeating with each cookie.
  • 7 bake cookies (on pan lined with parchment paper) at 350° for 10 minutes, and remove to rack to cool.
