Hot Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup half-and-half
- 1 tablespoon corn syrup
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 melt chocolate, butter, half-and-half, corn syrup and salt in a large heavy saucepan on low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is smooth.
- 2 when mixture is smooth, take off heat and let set for 10 minutes.
- 3 then stir in the vanilla.
- 4 serve hot over ice cream for hot fudge sundae.
- 5 add a few nuts on top if desired.
