Halloween Leftovers Cookies

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened (or margarine)
  • 1 cup firmly-packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup yogurt-covered raisins
  • 1/2 cup chocolate-covered peanuts
  • 1/2 cup reese's pieces

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375.
  • 2 sift together flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt into bowl and set aside.
  • 3 in a large bowl, using an electric mixer set on medium, cream butter, brown sugar and sugar.
  • 4 with the mixer on low, beat in egg and vanilla.
  • 5 beat in flour mixture a little at a time until a soft dough forms.
  • 6 combine rasins, peanuts and reese's in a medium bowl.
  • 7 gently fold in half of the candy mixture, being careful not to break up the candy pieces.
  • 8 drop onto ungreased baking sheets, about 2" apart by heaping teaspoons.
  • 9 sprinkle the tops of the dough balls with the remaining candy mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
  • 10 bake cookies until lightly golden, 10-12 minutes.
  • 11 cool completely on wire racks.
