Double Peanut Chocolate Cookies

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 40 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup salted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup lightly packed light brown sugar or 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°; grease cookie sheets or line with silpat.
  • 2 in a bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda; set aside.
  • 3 in a big bowl, using an electric mixer, combine the butter, sugar, and peanut butter until creamy.
  • 4 add in the vanilla; add in the eggs one at a time and mix well after each addition.
  • 5 scrape down the bowl and mix again.
  • 6 add the flour mixture and mix; stir in the chips.
  • 7 using two tablespoons or a small ice cream scoop, drop the dough onto the cookie sheets; space the dough so there are twelve cookies per tray.
  • 8 bake for 12-15 minutes.
