Double Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Brownies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup peanut butter, creamy
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups peanut butter chips
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips, semi-sweet
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
- 2 in a large mixing bowl, beat butter and peanut butter. beat in sugar and brown sugar. add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, and then beat in vanilla. mixture will be fluffy and light.
- 3 in a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking powder and salt. add dry mixture to the large mixing bowl a little at a time until fully incorporated.
- 4 fold in peanut butter chips and chocolate chips.
- 5 spread evenly into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. bake for 35 - 40 minutes or until lightly browned, and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- 6 cool for at least 1 hour before slicing. cut into 2-inch squares and serve.
