Crispy Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• Servings: 6
• 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 teaspoons hot water
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 cup coarsely chopped nuts

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350 deg f.
• 2 cream butter. add sugar. beat in eggs one at a time. add in vanilla. dissolve baking soda in hot water. add to batter alongwith salt. stir in flour, chips and nuts. drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.
• 3 bake till edges are nicely browned i.e. for about 10 minutes.
