Copycat Hershey's Chocolate Syrup Recipe

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1/2 cup hershey's cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 teaspoon clear jel, for thicken (cook type)

Recipe

  • 1 combine cocoa, sugar, and salt in a saucepan.
  • 2 add water, and mix until smooth.
  • 3 bring this mixture to a boil.
  • 4 boil for one minute, be careful this does not over boil.
  • 5 remove from heat and cool.
  • 6 add the vanilla.
