Chocolate Covered Marshmallows!

Total Time: 12 mins Preparation Time: 2 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 4 ounces gum arabic
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 3 egg whites
  • melted chocolate-flavored candy coating
  • confectioners' sugar
  • cornstarch

Recipe

  • 1 soak the gum arabic in water overnight.
  • 2 next,strain into a double boiler.
  • 3 add the sugar,cooking until mix thickens.
  • 4 remove from heat,adding in the extract,& stiffly beaten egg whites.
  • 5 beat until mix is stiff.
  • 6 dust a pan with equal amounts of cornstarch& confectioners sugar.
  • 7 pour mixture into pan,dust top with cornstarch mixture.
  • 8 let this stand overnight,then cut into pieces.
  • 9 dip each in chocolate.
