Chocolate Cobbler

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup self rising flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in 13x9 pan or dish at 350 degrees.
  • 2 combine flour, 3/4c sugar, pecans, 1-1/2t cocoa, milk and vanilla in a small bowl.
  • 3 spoon over melted butter.
  • 4 do not stir.
  • 5 mix 1c sugar and the 1/4c cocoa together and sprinkle back and forth over the batter.
  • 6 do not stir.
  • 7 pour boiling water over top.
  • 8 do not stir.
  • 9 bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
  • 10 cool somewhat.
  • 11 cover with hot fudge sauce and vanilla ice cream, if desired.
