Cointreau Parfait Pie

Ingredients

- 1 (85 g) package orange jell-o
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/3 cup cointreau liqueur
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
- 9 inches graham cracker crust
- 1/2 cup whipping cream (to garnish)
- chocolate shavings (to garnish)
- toasted almond (to garnish)
Recipe
- 1 dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
- 2 add cointreau.
- 3 add ice cream by spoonfuls, stirring until melted.
- 4 chill until thickened but not set.
- 5 pour into pie shell and chill again until set.
- 6 garnish thickly with whipping cream, chocolate and almonds.
