Chocolate Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup dutch-processed cocoa powder
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 6 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 spray 2 9x5 inch loaf pans or 24 standard size muffin cups with non-stick cooking spray.
  • 3 sift together flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa.
  • 4 set aside.
  • 5 in a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar and eggs.
  • 6 stir in bananas and vanilla.
  • 7 add sifted ingredients, and mix well.
  • 8 fold in sour cream and chocolate chips.
  • 9 pour half of mixture into each loaf pan, or fill muffin cups 3/4 full.
  • 10 bake 50-60 minutes for loaves, or 25-30 minutes for muffins, or until a knife inserted in the center comes away clean.
