Chocolate Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup dutch-processed cocoa powder
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 6 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350.
- 2 spray 2 9x5 inch loaf pans or 24 standard size muffin cups with non-stick cooking spray.
- 3 sift together flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa.
- 4 set aside.
- 5 in a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar and eggs.
- 6 stir in bananas and vanilla.
- 7 add sifted ingredients, and mix well.
- 8 fold in sour cream and chocolate chips.
- 9 pour half of mixture into each loaf pan, or fill muffin cups 3/4 full.
- 10 bake 50-60 minutes for loaves, or 25-30 minutes for muffins, or until a knife inserted in the center comes away clean.
