Florentine Slice

Ingredients

- 150 g butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 70 g sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup glace cherries
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Recipe
- 1 melt butter and sugar in a large saucepan.
- 2 remove from heat and add almonds, raisins and cherries.
- 3 sift flour and baking powder into the saucepan and mix until combined.
- 4 spread into a greased 20cm square shallow tin.
- 5 bake at 180c degrees for 25 minutes or until golden and cooked.
- 6 melt chocolate in microwave or over hot water.
- 7 drizzle over slice while still warm.
- 8 cut into sqaures or fingers while warm.
