Eggnog Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

• 2/3 cup eggnog
• 1/3 cup milk
• 1 tablespoon unsweetened chocolate, chopped
• 1/2 tablespoon cocoa powder
• 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• ground cinnamon
• whipped cream

Recipe

• 1 use a double boiler to melt chopped unsweetened baking chocolate over a medium/low heat.
• 2 once the unsweetened baking chocolate is completely melted, add egg nog and milk. bring to a simmer (do not boil).
• 3 whisk in cocoa powder, ground nutmeg and vanilla.
• 4 continue to stir mixture until smooth and heated through.
• 5 pour the thick mixture in to a mug, garnish, as desired, and serve.
