Grasshopper Torte

Ingredients

• Servings: 10
• 2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs
• 1/4 cup margarine, melted
• 1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
• 2 tablespoons milk
• 2 tablespoons creme de menthe
• 2 cups whipping cream, whipped

Recipe

• 1 combine crumbs and margarine.
• 2 reserve 1/2 cup for topping.
• 3 press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom of 9-inch spring form pan.
• 4 combine marshmallow creme, milk and creme de menthe, mixing with electric mixer or wire whisk until well blended.
• 5 fold in whipped cream.
• 6 pour over crust.
• 7 sprinkle with reserved crumbs.
• 8 freeze.
• 9 variation: increase milk to 1/4 cup.
• 10 substitute a few drops peppermint extract and green food coloring for creme de menthe.
