French Chocolate

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 14
  • 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (real chocolate please)
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 6 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups chilled whipping cream
  • 8 cups milk

Recipe

  • 1 in the top of a double boiler, over very hot but not boiling water, melt the chocolate chips with corn syrup and water.
  • 2 stir constantly until the mixture is smooth and melted completely.
  • 3 stir in vanilla and chill mixture.
  • 4 beat the cream until stiff.
  • 5 fold in the chilled chocolate mixture.
  • 6 refrigerate until use.
  • 7 heat milk until hot but not boiling.
  • 8 to serve fill cup 1/3-1/2 full of cream and top with milk.
  • 9 stir to blend.
