Chocolate Pan Frosting

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 4 cups confectioners' sugar

Recipe

  • 1 place butter in a medium bowl and melt over low heat. 2-3 minutes.
  • 2 stir in the cocoa and milk.
  • 3 bring to a boil, stirring, and remove from heat.
  • 4 add in the sugar and mix till thickened and smooth.
  • 5 pour warm frosting over the top of a cooled cake, spreading it with a spatula so it reaches all sides of the cake.
