Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 3 3/4 cups confectioners' sugar, domino brand recommended
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened (or you can use margarine)
  • 3 -4 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 place chocolate in heavy saucepan on very low heat. stir constantly until just melted. set aside to cool.
  • 2 combine in large bowl, with mixer at low speed, confectioners sugar, butter, milk and vanilla.
  • 3 beat at medium speed 1-2 minutes until creamy. add cooled chocolate and beat until combined. if desired, add more milk until frosting is spreading consistency.
