Gingerbread Truffles

Ingredients

  • 100 ml heavy cream
  • 100 ml sugar
  • 25 g butter
  • 200 g dark chocolate (high-quality)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • cocoa powder

Recipe

  • 1 combine sugar and cream in a saucepan and bring gently to boil.
  • 2 remove from heat and add butter and chocolate in small pieces; stir until butter and chocolate melt and the mixture is smooth.
  • 3 add spices, mix.
  • 4 transfer to the refrigerator and chill until the mixture is firm enough to handle.
  • 5 shape into balls with moistened hands. roll in cocoa powder.
