Fran's Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup milk
• 3 1/2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 3/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 cup chocolate chips

Recipe

• 1 cream together shortening, brown sugar and sugar.
• 2 add to the mixture eggs, vanilla and milk.
• 3 mix together and add flour, soda, salt and baking powder.
• 4 stir in chocolate chips.
• 5 drop by teaspoonfuls onto a cookies sheet.
• 6 bake 375°f for 12-13 minutes.
